Hirail Excavator Snow Brush

Our hirail wheeled excavator snow brush series includes four tonnage ranges: 8–9 ton, 10–12 ton, 13–15 ton and 17–18 ton, fitted with hydraulic rotary snow brush attachment dedicated to winter snow removal on railway tracks, platforms and trackside roads. All machines adopt integrated road-rail wheel assemblies: heavy-duty off-road tires enable self-propelled transit on paved roads without surface damage, while switchable steel rail wheels allow steady travel along rails to reach turnouts, platform edges and line sections, eliminating flatbed transportation for rapid mobilization during snowfall.

The hydraulically driven snow rotor is equipped with dense wear-resistant composite steel wire bristles. High-speed rotation delivers wide, powerful sweeping performance to clear heavy snow and broken ice from rail tops, sleeper gaps, track bed slopes and platform walkways. A curved enclosed housing blocks flying snow mist to prevent re-deposition on rails that would disrupt train operation. The excavator boom supports 360° rotation and multi-angle lifting/tilting to clean tight hard-to-reach spaces such as turnout gaps and narrow platform aisles. The frost-resistant bristles resist bending and abrasion for long service life under low-temperature conditions.
